“RB25DETT Drivetrain” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Hobby Shop Garage (the “Sponsor”) and administered by Marden-Kane, Inc. (the “Administrator”). For the purposes of the Sweepstakes, the “Sweepstakes Group” is composed of the Sponsor and the Administrator, together with their affiliates and related companies, including without limitation their parent, sister, and subsidiary companies, retailers, franchisees, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers of material and services related to the Sweepstakes, and any other corporation, partnership, sole proprietorship, or other legal entity directly involved in the Sweepstakes and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and other representatives.

  1. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD The Sweepstakes starts on October 12, 2023, and ends on November 27, 2023, at 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) (the “Sweepstakes Period”).

  2. ELIGIBILITY All participants must (a) be of legal age of majority in their country/state/province of residence at the time of entry; (b) possess a valid form of identification; and (c) be a legal resident of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia (excluding overseas military installations and other U.S. territories), Canada (excluding Quebec), United Kingdom, New Zealand, Finland, France, and Switzerland. Persons identified as “Blocked Persons” or persons subject to applicable sanctions prohibitions, including, without limitation, those persons listed on the U.S. Department of Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control’s Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. All applicable country, federal, national, provincial, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited, restricted, or where Sweepstakes Group would be subject to a tax by law. Excluded from eligibility are officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives of Sweepstakes Group, each of its respective parent, affiliated or related companies, agencies, suppliers of the materials and services related to this Sweepstakes, and members of any immediate families (defined as parents, siblings, children, and spouses, regardless of where they live) or households (whether or not related) of such officers, directors, employees, agents, and sales representatives (collectively above, the “Eligibility Criteria”).

  3. HOW TO ENTER Internet access required at Entrant’s cost. An individual meeting the eligibility criteria may enter the Sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes Period by one of the following methods of entry:

During the Sweepstakes Period:

Online entry: Purchase an eligible product, to be clearly identified on Sponsor website, at www.hobbyshopgarage.com and receive one (1) entry for every $5 USD spent. The number of entries you receive will be based on the list price of your eligible purchase (excludes discounts, sales tax, and shipping charges) and will be rounded up to the next $1 dollar increment. If a purchase is returned prior to the drawing, entry/ies associated with that purchase will be voided. No limit on the number of entries received with a purchase on www.hobbyshopgarage.com. Entry Multiplier: Throughout the Promotion Period, the Sponsor may announce opportunities to increase the number of automatic online purchase entries you may earn by a multiplier, e.g., (2X), (5X), (10X), and (20X) (each an “Entry Multiplier”). When an Entry Multiplier is offered, entries will be multiplied by the applicable Entry Multiplier. For example, a $60 purchase during a 10X Entry Multiplier offer will earn 600 entries (60x10=600). Timing for an Entry Multiplier offer will be determined solely by the Sponsor and will be announced by the Sponsor on their Website (at drifthq.com or hobbyshopgarage.com) and/or its social media pages.

Event entry: During the Sweepstakes Period (as stated above), Hobby Shop Garage will be participating in local events and will be selling their eligible products. Dates/times of these events will be announced on the Hobby Shop Garage social media channels. Purchase of products at the event will receive one (1) entry for every $5 USD spent. If the purchase is returned prior to Sweepstakes drawing, eligible entries will be voided. No limit on the number of entries received with a purchase at a participating event.

No Purchase Required ONLINE Free Method of Entry: Eligible individuals who wish to enter the Promotion without any kind of purchase, go to www.hobbyshopgaragesweepstakes.com and complete the required form during the Promotion period. All fields must be complete to be eligible. Earn 1 entry per completed form. No limit on the number of forms completed/entries earned. Personal information collected from the entrant is used only for the purpose of the Promotion and will not be re-used, sold, or shared in any manner unless the entrant agrees to receive further information on Sponsor’s products and promotions. Use of computer programs and/or other automated devices to enter the Promotion is prohibited. The Online Free Method of Entry must be uploaded no later than November 27, 2023, at 2:59:59 p.m. ET.

By providing the required entry information, you consent to receive email communications from the Sponsor, from which you can unsubscribe at any time. No correspondence will be acknowledged or entered into; requests for confirmation of receipt of entries (via either method of entry) will not be acknowledged. (Non-U.S. Residents should note that their entry data will be maintained in the U.S.)

ENTRY LIMITS: No limit on the number of entries earned via all methods of entry. Personal information collected is used only in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy at www.hobbyshopgarage.com/privacypolicy. By submitting an Entry, you confirm that you have read, understand and agree to abide by these Official Sweepstakes Rules. Your Entry must adhere to the Eligibility Criteria listed above or your Entry will be void and ineligible for entry into the Sweepstakes. All entrants and Entries are subject to verification before the awarding of a prize, as are the eligibility, age, and other claims of information provided by a potential prize winner. In a dispute, Entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of Entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. The potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Incomplete, corrupted, garbled, misdirected, or otherwise illegible Entries, or Entries without contact information, or agreement to these Official Sweepstakes Rules, are void and will not be accepted. All Entries submitted become the sole property of Sweepstakes Group and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late 

or misdirected Entries, or for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, or destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, Entries, or for technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive any Entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website.

  1. PRIZES There will be a total of three (3) prizes awarded in this Sweepstakes:

Grand Prize (1): RB25DETT Drivetrain Second Prize (1): $1,000 gift card to DriftHQ.com Third Prize (1): $1,000 gift card to HobbyShopGarage.com

The total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of all prizes is $12,000 USD. Prize winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, provincial, local, or other applicable taxes associated with the acceptance and use of their prize. No transfer, substitution, or cash equivalent for a prize is allowed, except at the discretion of the Sponsor, in which case a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted.

  1. WINNER SELECTION The potential winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The drawing will be conducted on or about May 5, by the Administrator, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.

  2. NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS The potential winners will be notified by email within five (5) business days of the drawing. Potential winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and (where legal) a Publicity Release within seven (7) days of notification attempt or the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner selected. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to provide any requested information, fails to respond to the notification within the required time period, or is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Sweepstakes Rules, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner selected. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize to an alternate entrant who will also be selected randomly, even if the disqualified potential winner’s name may have been publicly announced. Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission for the Sweepstakes Group to use winners’ names, likenesses, photographs, voices, opinions, and/or hometowns and states for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, (including but not limited to internet and television broadcast) without further consent or compensation except where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

  3. RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Group from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of Entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Sweepstakes Group’s liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the Sweepstakes Group be liable for attorney’s fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.

  4. DISPUTES Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of California. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Sweepstakes Rules, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sweepstakes Group in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of California or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of California.

  5. WINNERS’ LIST For the names of the prize winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to:1941 NE 34th CT, Lighthouse PT, FL. 33064., Attn: “RB25DETT Drivetrain” Sweepstakes Winners’ List. Requests must be received within six (6) weeks of the end of the Sweepstakes Period.

  6. SPONSOR The Sponsor of the Sweepstakes is Hobby Shop Garage, 1941 NE 34th CT, Lighthouse PT, FL. 33064.

This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or any other social network platform. You understand that you are providing your information to the Sponsor and not to any social network platform. The information you provide will only be used for the administration of the Sweepstakes and in accordance with the Sponsor’s privacy policy (available upon request).
